English band The Kooks has been around for a while now (shame on me for having just found them now), but are beginning to pick up more and more momentum in the music world. Coming from Brighton, East Sussex, this British indie group has been compared to Arctic Monkeys and are strongly influenced by The Kinks. Be on the look out for their third studio album some time in the vague future.
